Sleep Cycle Monitoring

Winner of the prestigious Time Magazine Best Inventions award, this is the watch that monitors your sleep cycles and sounds an alarm only when you are in a light sleep stage, eliminating the dazed, groggy sensations that occur when you are awoken from a deep sleep. Waking from a light sleep cycle reduces sleep inertia and can lead to improved brain activity, mood, and alertness in the morning. Using an integrated accelerometer, the watch tracks brief physiological movements that occur during the light sleep stages of your sleep cycle. The readings enable the watch to determine the optimal time for you to wake, and the unit gently prods you with vibrations or an audible alarm to get out of bed. Ideal when traveling through different time zones or for those with fluctuating morning schedules, the watch has a four-button control panel that allows you to easily set the alarm, program the time you are going to bed, and select a timespan (10 to 90 minutes) prior to the alarm for the watch to begin determining the best time for you to wake. The watch has a graphing function that shows your "nearly awake" moments for the previous night's sleep.

Includes PC software for tracking sleep data, and a USB port for connection to a PC. Battery included. (2 oz.)
